Hiya nony! Should have stopped by fubar a long time ago to see how things were going but I did fall off the planet for awhile in a sense.....been caring for family so much no time for anything and just now started back on floats. Good hearing from you, i'll stop by site and let you know what's been happening.

Thanks, They are 46" sea commander floats from canada www.seacommander.com
the detailing was added by myself.....home made brackets scaled after a real cub I have pictures of on floats and real rivets from micro fasteners drilled and ca'd in place, angles were from a plastic ceiling tile corner bracket from home depot I cut in several pieces. Here's a picture when I first started. I also added bottom strakes.

Well, this thread has been slow for a while! I guess everyone is spending time at the lake! [8D] Here is a shot of my last outing a couple of days ago. Nearly 80 deg., light breeze, flat water!

Where can I find a set of of the drawings that are supposedly included in the SC 46 float kit? Would really appreciate the help. This would really come in handy since I dont know which of the aluminum blocks goes where, and which of the aluminum tubing goes as well...

Hey nony.....nice picture. That your cub? I bought a glass super cub cowl for mine but it won't fit over my G38, top of cowl hits engine.

Hi Bud, nope not mine unfortunately...I have Byron Husky floats for it though and may get them mounted later on this year - 'course they won't be as good looking as yours.....I thought about the Super Cub cowl as well, but came to the same conclusion....
