Hi Mat,
Lowidle is now setup and works a treat,I can now land with the engine at 30,000 rpm, that 5k has made quite a difference to the landing thrust.

Hi , The software is version 5, the engine is only 6 weeks old. I have not tried to lower the rpm yet as I was waiting for any information on a safe lower RPM.

I have just had a new p80 , on looking at the max RPM it is set to 123K , is this setting ok,I thought it should max out at 117K , if this setting is OK what sort of thrust are the new engines giving?

Looking at the pics of the chamber is the mk1 type, the sticks are not inconel, the later combusters have straight sticks and are inconel.

If the spark erosion fails and you require a new NGV I have them in stock, or you could rotate the NGV in the casing and re-drill and tap a fresh set to holes.
