I purchased a H9 SD from someone who started building it and never finished. He outfitted it with an OS .91FX with a Bisson Pitts style muffler. He installed the main gears and tail wheel...

thanks for the tip Jeff, I will try that.

Clarification - I did not rebuilt it from the wreck - it was a new escapade. And I am using an after market sullivan tail wheel which works great....

So we are back.... Return of the Escapade Part 2. After plumitting mine in the ground... and I still blame it on lost binding, it was rebuilt and flown on Sunday afternoon using the same engine OS...

New replacement escapade purchased on Labor Day and is being built this week.... cost for replacement airframe and accessories $213.00 from my local hobby shop.... We'll be back!

The escapade has the highest potential crash ability of all the great planes out there. I hope someone from GP is reading our 45 pages of thread and will come out with a better build version of this...

my habu has some rough scuff marks on it from my maiden flight.... it flew right through some trees and i thought it was history.

This aircraft is definitely my favorite. It flies great.... It does have some tail wag but man, it zipps around really nicely on the OS AX46.
