RE: oops....

Sorry about the accident. As for the epoxy, I wouldn't take any chances on the tail feathers like that. I'd use at least 30 min. epoxy.

RE: alpha trainer??

It's a great little plane! My friend trained on one, and he did well with it. In fact, we flew it today, and got 3 different guys flying on it this afternoon on buddy box. It's mild at low throttle,...

RE: Evolution 11 trainer

Are you sure it's not a Hangar9 Extra Easy2 trainer with the Evolution .455 Trainer Power System on it? As far as I know, Evo doesn't make planes, but the Extra Easy2s are powered by the Evo. TPS...

RE: Erratic Engine Idle

For adjusting low end, I adjust it according to transition. Try moving the stick from idle to half throttle quickly and see what happens. After the engine has been run up and cleared out that is. If...

No pics of it yet. This particular stick was stick built by Carl Roynon and Don Philips, two local flyers and great builders. It's a .60 size plane with a SuperTigre .75 glow engine and a 12X8 prop....

RE: What is the goal you have set for yourself after training

I think I'll follow after my friend who got me into the hobby. Giant scale 3D planes, and hopefully doing some precision flying. Mostly aerobatic planes, but maybe a few warbirds thrown in for...

RE: How long did it take you to solo?

I think 10-15 flights or so. And just a bit of advice for all the other half way newbies, if you haven't practiced on a sim. alot and become very proficient at flying inverted, keep the plane way up...

Yeah, the problem was I wasn't really trying to do a low pass, but when I started fighting the roll I'm guessing I let off of the down elevator, which brought it lower. I now know what I should have...

First thought that comes to my mind...are you for sure holding the stick over to the left/right all the time? Should be pretty obvious...Also, are you giving DOWN elevator when the plane is inverted...

RE: What Radio "FEELS" the best/not Features

RE: Hanger 9 XtraEasy2 engine size

He's right. It's the Evolution TPS (Trainer Power System) .455" glow engine. Mine runs great once I got to know it and tuned it. I also have an XE2 trainer.

RE: H9 Alpha and a 2 bladed prop

You're gonna need a new 2 blade spinner. The flywheel messes up the backplate a bit, but mine works fine. I have the XE2 with the same engine you have. When you tighten down the prop. nut it will...
