Same as the other guys - I've got a k&n filter cleaning kit for my 1:1 car so just use that for my LST.

RE: flex tech titanium a-arms

The flextek arms are sure bling - they look awesome. I really don't think i've seen a better lookin LST than dowa's with his flextek's and stuff.

Having said that, I broke 9 stock arms in a...

RE: What's the best fuel for racing?

Everyone who uses Blue Thunder ends up with a slippy one-way bearing cause of the massive oil content - I stayed away from it and have had no problems. I use Byron 25% and it's great -...

RE: New clutch options?

I believe the works is adjustable via 3 springs. If you stick with stock setup and mugen shoes and springs you can get different thickness springs and adjust the grab. Alot of people really like...

RE: lst Aftermarket Exhaust ?

I've got a RDLogics pipe on mine - a TON more bottom end and it sounds great. Yellow springs are great for bashing or look at the New Era dual-rate springs. I got my threaded shocks along with most...

RE: Mach .26 replacement choice?

For a good cheap replacement with good low-end power the SH .28 is a good engine and uses the Mach .26 rotostart backplate :) For flat-out power the Collari .30 is the bomb!

Yeah like dowa said...

RE: 2 Different Brake-in Fuels?

Many people report having their one-way bearing slip repeatedly after using Blue Thunder. That in itself is good enough reason not to use it :) I use Byron 25% in mine and it's great!

RE: mach. 26 broke connecting rod

The Mach .26 is an awesome engine. There's been a long list of people in the last 2 months with broken conrods. As people said I'd say it's a manufacturing error and will be corrected. Horizon are...

RE: shock set ups for lst

For on-road you want it low down and stiff as you can get it with lots of negative camber. Off-road you want ground clearance, softer suspension to soak up the bumps and more tyre on the road for...

RE: LST vs REVO

The LST is a great mix of basher and racer and can be hopped up to excel in either direction.

A few months ago I made the same post - revo or LST - and I went with the LST and haven't looked...

RE: New LST issues?? Y?

I'd agree it seems there's a manufacturing defect in the new Mach engines - what can you do. The distributor is replacing the engines free of charge - that's as much as you could possibly expect.

RE: lst will not move i need help!

Maybe the brakes are binding a little? Mine did that til they had worn in a little bit. Are there any other symptoms? Strange noises etc? When the truck is turned off can you roll it by hand on...

RE: Air Brush or Can..Which Paint

I bought a cheap airbrush ($AU30) and some faskolor paints and did my first ever body and it came out good. Some dodgy spots but they were my fault, not the paint/equipment.

I used the canned...

RE: Shock capacity

Yeah about 1 1/2 bottles of shock oil. I went from 30wt to 35wt for a bit more dampening when landing hard without going crazy on 50wt or something. If you're a hardcore basher though 50wt would be...

RE: Revs up after i use brakes

MrBillUp is spot on. Move the throttle return spring from the spot on the carb where they put it to the closest fuel tank post and you'll be fine :)

RE: that clicking and grinding noise

There's been a LOT of Mach .26's reporting broken rods on these forums in the last month or two. I'd suspect it's got to be a batch manufacturing fault. Do we need a sticky for this one like the...

RE: Losi Super Truck Pictures

Yeah the RDLogics pipe opens the bottom end up on the Mach big time. Much more positive takeoff and earlier more positive shifting without any slipper adjustments etc. Plus it sounds awesome :P

RE: Trouble Starting 1st time??

There's been a string of engine failures reported in LST's with serial no over #14000ish in the last couple weeks. All have broken conrods and siezing up in the 1-3 tanks.

Talk to the store you...

RE: fuel?

I run Byron 25% and it's great. No slipping from the one way, plenty of power, tunes up nicely.

I want to try White Lightning but can't find it anywhere here.
