RE: Half tank lean issue resolved for pennies?

I have that on all my Savages and but is primarily used to primer fuel into the lines.
It does hold a good amount of fuel in the bulb when the truck turtles. Keeps it running for a while.
The...

RE: Eliminate rear turnbuckles?

I could have used something like this when I had my LST shock mods and lost the rear turnbuckle adapter bracket. (You know, that piece that puts the TB in the front):eek:

Anyway, looks...

RE: Who ever told me to get i picco, I auta! Vids now up!

Picco's are nice. I still have a .26 wasp and still out performs some .28's out here... lol
But I think an STS .28 will give this a run for it's money... IMO

RE: Home Made Mugen Tank Installation!

RE: Anyone try a Perry Pump?

With the increase in fuel, where would the motor get the extra air needed for mixture if not dependent on the venturi suction which, depending on the size of the venturi, would make more/less fuel...

RE: Anyone try a Perry Pump?

So basically this is a turbo mod for nitro engines. Would this work for motors bigger than .21?
This seems to be better mod than the blower contraption and is only 1/3 of the price...
You better...

RE: PICS OF YOUR SAVAGES !!

I tried that exact same type/design of deflector. It keeps the truck clean and blows all the smoke and oil straight down to the ground but lasted just about a hour or 2 worth of fun.
The issue...

RE: wing

Savage_Crazy, I don't have any issues with using this wing mount for racing. I did for looks anyway. The body did not have one before so this added some weight and might be a disadvantage but who...

RE: wing

Correct. You can just take the wing off quickly for bashing...

Savages are not meant to have wings anyway so anyone that has one mounted either did it for looks or did it for looks... ;)

RE: wing

RE: wing

I have other Savages for bashing. This one is my racer savage and only sees street (asphalt) racing.
For warmups, I do run without the body however the body goes back on after a tanks run....
I...

RE: wing

I just mount mine on the body itself so there is no special cutting made to the rear body when wings are mounted on the shock towers.
Besides, I can't mount to the shock towers on my mine anyway...

RE: Problem with new D30M / Savage 25 / C5H

My buddy had the same setup with the back firing issue during break in process. It turns out there was too much fuel going in so we just leaned out the HSN to 1.5 turns.
As for the hole in the...

RE: the new dual fiber glass brake

Go-to, a bid of friendly tip... although having your savage stop on dime and flip over may not be a good thing as it will prematurely wear down your diffs that will soon lead to stripped/broken...

RE: Pull Start Vs. Roto Start

If you're going to carry the glow plug igniter anyway, why not just wear a fanny pouch and carry the RS and igniter. I do.

This works perfectly. I think the X SS models come with washer installed from...
