RE: U guys think i can

As already stated, what you want is a nice small block. A big block is going to add a lot of weight and make the truck handle poorly. The added weight and torque is pretty much garanteed to destroy...

RE: Overheating

It's fake, it's all a joke. We have an align T-Rex 600 at work, that's what the batteries are for.

RE: Overheating

There are two 5000mah 6-cell (22.2 volt lipos). 340 dollars each.

My car does 135mph!

Overheating

I'm having a problem with overheating. I can't even touch the motor after like 30 seconds. Can anyone help?

RE: RUSTLER sirio .23 ACCIDENT

That sucks. That's what happens when they try to cram that much engine into that much space. Thin block.

RE: noob question: do you really have to charge a glow igniter for 14 hours?

If you want a full charge, then yes. I usually just plug it in overnight...

RE: drifting with a jato

Drifting doesn't work very well with a 2wd RC. In fact, it doesn't really work at all.

RE: Graphite VS Aluminum

The benefits of graphite over plastic is that it is stiffer and lighter. However, it is also more brittle. Aluminum is very strong, but adds weight. The only parts you ever want to consider in...

RE: XTM X-Cellerator

I've had experience with all the 1/10 scale RTR engines and I'd have to say the XTM .18 is probably the easiest to start, run, and tune. The do come very rich from the factory. Maybe lean out the...

RE: G3.0 Enginez

It's a pretty good engine. It comes pretty tight from the factory and is a ***** to get running for the first time, but after about 6-8 tanks of break in it really wakes up.

RE: buying new truck

Unfortunately it seems the majority of the threads on this forum are "what car is better?" or "what should I buy?"

Just take five minutes to scan through the forums and you will get your answer.

RE: .12 motor will start when I pour gas into carb, but not on it's own

More fuel is typically harder to ignite with a bad plug.

It is more than likely an air leak in the fuel system. As already suggested, the O-Ring on the fuel tank lid can go bad. It can also be a...

RE: Help me Identify these tires/rims please..!

At first glance, I thought they were these Jaco foams for trucks. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCME3&P=ML

I think that is actually what they are.

RE: Best Stadium truck

The Firestorm is actually very fast. The electric rustler is doing mid 20's out of the box. It only does 35mph with a 7 cell battery, a larger pinion, and while going down a freakin hill. The new...

RE: Foam Inserts?

You can't really run these things without foams. This guy talks like he knows everything but I haven't seen him make a logical suggestion yet.

RE: my New Firestorm 10t

I don't own a Firestorm but I am actually pretty impressed with it. The only flaw I see on it is that a decent front end hit could bend the top plate. To remove the top plate you have to take out...

RE: How to make my Xcell wheelie?

Go with some Losi aluminum clutch shoes. I think they make them for the XXX-NT. The Stock shoes just don't grip hard enough to wheelie. Some people that have switched to aluminum shoes have been able...

RE: noobie made great deal?? kinda

Your front hub bolts are coming out because you aren't using loctite. Loctite the bolt and let it sit for a few hours to dry. Don't overtighten the bolt either or the hub will bind up a little.

RE: Just got my new Jato!

It snaps at the very front where it connects to the steering top plate. Since the front of the chassis is plastic, it flexes upward on a front end hit and crack the top plate. Major weak point with...

RE: Which engine is the best for the RC10GT2?

If you want to race your truck and actually be able to drive it, get a .12 engine. A .12 is going to set much faster lap times than a .15 or a .18.

RE: Gear trouble

You can go with a larger spur gear or a smaller clutch bell. The clutch bell is going to make the biggest difference. Drop it down one or two teeth from what you already have installed.

RE: Rustler Wheelie Trouble!!

Wheelies in the grass is another story. In the grass, the front end pretty much gets bumped off the ground making wheelies easier.

RE: 1:10 st wich should i buy?

Since everyone ALWAYS recommends something different, let me just jump in here and suggest the Losi XXX-NT.

RE: Rustler Wheelie Trouble!!

Gear it lower. The Rustler is geared to do mid 40's out of the box, gear it down some and you will the torque to pop the front end up.

RE: HPI Firestorm 4wd?

No, there really isn't any way to do it without hacking up the entire truck.
