Fastlane Machine Stampede Video

Hey guys. Just wanted to share a little bashing video I made. I mainly hang out in the Traxxas forums, but I know there are a few Pede lovers here too.

RE: Why Is This Hobby Not Too Popular ???

I'll never forget the first time I laid eyes on a hobby grade rc. I remember thinking "how come I've never seen one at Toys R Us like that". Now it's a blast to take my Stampede out to a local park...

Castle Creations updated Mamba Max software

Sorry if this has already been brought to everyone's attention. I just found out yesterday and boy does it make a difference with cogging. I have the Mamba Max 7700 and this update eliminates...

RE: Spektrum DX2.0 range=50 yards ish (arrgh!)

Wow! Your Spektrum problems are very frustrating I'm sure. My Spektrum works great. I have taken my truck as far as I can see it and it still has good signal.

RE: Official VXL Thread

I have a VXL and a Mamba 7700. With the Kokam 4800 lipo (2cell) the MM7700 is much faster than the VXL. In order for the VXL to reach its full potential you have to have a 3 cell lipo. I do love...

RE: vxl stampede

As for the servo saver, get you a Kimbrough servo saver. You will have to widen a couple of the holes with a drill bit, but it's much better than the Traxxas stock savers.

RE: Stampede Top Speed !

I have heard a lot of people say they don't like the CVD's. I have had the same drive shafts now for over a year and a half and have never replaced them. I did go ahead and get the steel yokes and...

RE: Stampede Top Speed !

JKEP44, I'm running a MM 7700 with a 2cell Lipo (Platinum 4800mah from Team Orion). I have reached 51 mph with 17/87 gearing. The motor and the esc were both under 175 degrees after 20 minutes of...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]

How can you have a Mamba Max system and a XL10? The Mamba Max system is a esc. You have two esc's?

RE: Mamba Max glitching issues???

I can tell that a glitch buster will help, but in the end I ended up getting a Spektrum also. I live by some main power lines and I still have crystal clear reception.

RE: I want to go mamba

I have not had over heating issues and I watch it pretty good with my temp gun. With my current gearing 14/87 and a team orion platinum lipo I can run for 20-25 minutes and my motor temp is in the...

RE: I want to go mamba

I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the Mamba motors. If you're a speed freak and plan on adding some cells, then the 5700 seems to be the best choice. If you don't want to add more...

RE: Mamba max for stampede.

I would start with a low pinion such as a 13 or 14 tooth/87 spur. If that does not give you wheelies then your battery is worthless. Unless of course you are not getting any traction and that...

RE: mamba max 6900 or 7700

I have the 7700 on my Stampede and I love it. I'm not saying it's better than the 6900 because I have not used it. The 7700 is a blast and I can control it just fine. It's all about your setup. ...

RE: Mamba max for stampede.

I bought the 7700 and I think I made a good choice. On a two cell lipo I am running well over 40 mph geared 17/87. The only time my motor got too hot was when I put a 8 cell Nimh pack on. Now I...

RE: My first video of the Mamba Max 7700 Pede

It's amazing what just a few more inches wheel base will do for your truck. I had widened my stock pede to a HPI arm conversion, but the FLM is just a tad wider and it has made a huge difference. I...

RE: My first video of the Mamba Max 7700 Pede

It handles well because it has the FLM wide arms and extended chassis. The stock arm length is not wide enough. This thing is so much fun! My next video I'll have my wife film so that we can get...

RE: My first video of the Mamba Max 7700 Pede

Well, once you have one you don't even want to put the Nimh packs back on any more. It's so much more friendly on your temps also. I highly recommend. Just wish they were not so expensive!

RE: My first video of the Mamba Max 7700 Pede

Yep! Team Orion Platinum Edition 4800 Lipo. I've ran that battery through about 25 cycles, and both cells are still the same voltage. I've never balanced them either. Good battery!

My first video of the Mamba Max 7700 Pede

This is my first time putting a video together, so it's not great. The intro is a little long, but the later part shows how sweet the Mamba Max 7700 can be. My pede was more geared for speed at...

RE: brand new mamba max 5700 and unable to use... help

This might be a silly question, but did you follow the Mamba Max manual in calibrating the radio to the esc? I'm sure you probably did, but thought I'd ask anyway. Here's what it says if you...

RE: What's your favorite charger for LiPo?

The reason the super brain 977 has two pieces is because one of the parts is the power supply. Most lipo chargers are DC powered which means you have to hook them up to a car battery. The 977...

How do I decide which cells are the best in a pack?

Hey fellas, I'm going to try to make a 7 cell pack and wanted to disassemble my GP3300 packs to do it. I want to use my best cells from the 2 packs that I'm going to disassemble. How do I identify...

RE: team orion lipos

I have this battery and I can tell you that it blows away my expensive Nimh batteries. It gives me at least 15-20 minutes with my Mamba Max 7700, if I'm not full throttle the whole time. It stays...
