RE: Anyone Own a Savage X?

I had the same problem buggymangp. I called them and they sent me new rotostart, backplate and all screws necessary no questions asked. The parts arrived about 4 days later.

RE: Warhead wont run

Call Hobby Services, be calm and patient. Tell them you're having the well known issue with the carb sliding and your idle screw stop is messed up. Then tell them as a result of these issues you...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I called Hobby Services last week to complain about my truck. I am most pissed that my 12yr old nephew spent $400 of his hard earned money on the truck and hasn't been able to drive it for more than...

RE: Anyone Own a Savage X?

Not necessarily. I have some Panasonic rechargeables that are 2100 mAH which would be 10,200. Some of mine are less as well though.

RE: Revo 3.3 or LST2?

To cruiserx and lax95. First of all, almost all of the polls you refer to are old, LST (first gen) vs. Revo (first gen). That was not my question. Also, any polls out before the trucks (Revo 3.3)...

Revo 3.3 or LST2?

I'm considering selling my warhead to buy another new monster truck. What's better a new Revo3.3 or a LST2? I know both are great trucks but can't decide between the two. Any opinions are welcome...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

Sorry Ash, should have said a stock savage X and a stock Warhead. I haven't really upgraded either too much yet. I wanted to run the heck out of the stock engines before upgrading and figured if I...

RE: Anyone own a Warhead

I'm anxious to hear about the Revo 3.3. Just came back from a weekend on block island, RI. Spent most of the time running my Warhead and my SavageX. The Warhead was running strong till I hit a...

RE: Anyone Own a Savage X?

If you have any doubt, I would set back to the factory setting in the manual and start tuning again from there. Some engines seem to go through glow plugs during breakin then stop after the break in...

RE: Best fuel for the savage x?

I first used Odonnell 20% but switched to Traxxas Top Fuel 20%. I like the Traxxas better and it's cheaper.

My SavageX did wheelies on pavement in the first two tanks, I love this truck. Easy on grass from a standstill too.

RE: Anyone Own a Savage X?

Sorry meant shift point on clutch. I tried tightening it up and loosening all the way, no go either way. I was with a friend much better at tuning and he couldn't figure it out either. Said he...

RE: 1st Post - my Savage LE in Action

Ditto, awesome shots. Helps to have a $1500 camera too. My wife has a Digital Rebel, it takes nice shots too. I'm going to show her these pics, maybe she'll get into RC after all :-) We both play...

RE: Revo 2.5R, Savage X or Warhead - which to buy and why?

Get the Savage X. I have a Warhead and a Savage X, no comparison. The X is nearly indestructible, fast, reliable, and haven't broken a part doing 10-15ft jumps, crashes, cart wheels. If you want...

RE: Shifting Problems

Loosened up the screw as far out as it would go without hitting the casing. Also, leaned out to around 275F. Going to lean it out to aroun 300F and see if I can get a shift, then I'll richen back...

RE: Shifting Problems

Actually, if you read the manual, counter clockwise = shifts sooner, clockwise = later. I'm also having trouble ****ing mine into second and it's definitely not starting out in 2nd, rips off the...

RE: Anyone Own a Savage X?

Ok, now I'm pissed off. Seems no matter what $400 truck I buy they all break within 1 or 2 runs. My new Savage X with only two tanks through now has a broken back plate so I can't run it the ONE...
