Not without an autorotation main gear on the main shaft. The motor will stall the blades really quickly, and if you burn a motor up chances are the motor could totally jam. Bye bye air, hello...

Those pinions i showed you are 2mm shaft yes. But be careful, i thought my piccolo motor was 2mm shaft, but it was actually 2.3mm shaft, so i had to use a dremel to file down the...

There are 2 ways to fix the tail motor problem once and for all.

1) Belt Drive Tail conversion.

2) Brushless tail motor and speed controller.

Both will work absoloutly great comared...

Steaming pile of poo. it shares the case and instructions with the GY401 but nothing else. I.e the bits inside the case which are what make the gyro good or bad, are cheap rubbish.

I bought 8 x 2500mah NIMH AA size batteries, and a charger that you slot the batteries in to and it works a treat.

The batteries last for absoutly ages.

By the way do you realise you will not be able to use your 4 channel transmitter that you used on your corona? The TREX needs 6 channel computer transmitter.

Get the GY401 instead - its only a few bucks more, and its abetter gyro with more features, and allows you to use beter digital servos too.

No point in buying a GY240 for a trex IMHO.
