Any tips on getting the outer can off or a kind of tool I can make to press it off? I can't afford to send it off - worthless to me like it is. I think something has to be jamming the engine...

yep, Polly Ranch. They live on Pine dr. around the corner. That place is tight with houses though and one of the narrowest runways I've seen for full size planes.
