What???[&:] My VXL is only 3 days old.
I got the vxl upgrade for my brushed slash from local hs and was RIPED OFF as it is, $180.

Now 3 days later it quits!!! [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Ok I got it back in nimh mode but now my motor won't work ***.
Stirring works but no thottle

I hold the button down and the red light flashes red but it never changes back to nimh mode.

wiring batterys in a series

Is it safe to wire a 7.2 and a 8.4 battery in series together ?
I have already done this with two 7.2 but I need just abit more kick.

I juSt wired two 7.2 v batterys iN series making 14.4 volts and the stock electrics are Still working fine
Instead of 12mph now I'm doing 16mph

How do you put a pinion on a motor anyway.

There is exactly 1 inch of space in between the mounting holes

This is how the motor mounts.
A longer motor will easily fit as long as the diameter is the same.

The motors are bigger than. 550 I'm Not sure what they are. Though

And all the electronics are junk and will need to be replaced

The Stock drivetrain is actually quite strong.
It consists of thick heay steel gears that are way overkill for the stock power.
and if a gear did fail I happen to have 4 more sets of laying...

I'm not finished

I want to set it up similar to an e maxx
2 motors and 2 batterys
but I'm not sure what what parts would do the job
I would like to run two 8.4 volt batteries making...

I want to do a little of everything its a hummer.
I don't want it to be vary fast 20 mph would be perfect
It can only do about 12mph know
