I'm not going to bash the motor, I had one of the early model 170's and I had a terrible time with it but that was a long time ago and I was new to tune pipes and the finer points of setting them up....

I use Light ply and fuel tubing, there is someone out there machining alum. nose rings but not sure who, maybe someone can chime in about that. I find the lite ply and fuel tubing nose rings I make...

Wendell, my v3 with AR80 and os160 did not require any spacer and I have about 1/16 inch gap between fuse and spinner.

I'm gonna guess because I don't know s**t about what is happening during a snap but here it goes. The smaller stab needs less yawing of the fuse to remove the air flow from it and the unstalled side...

Srekar, you might consider Nelson Hobby paints and HVLP spray kit, I personally have not used the Nelson stuff but have read some possitive threads about it, a common comment is its a little dull...

When you bolt the motor on it will staighten up, the alum. beam is butt blued to the ply disc with epoxy and then bolted in place from the inside with a large round washer/spacer thing, looks kinda...
