Hey,

I pulled my mini-z Monster off the shelf to play with and am a bit disappointed with the performance. I can't get it to do wheelies anymore, even on a fresh set of batteries, so it seems...

RE: T-REX 500 elevator servo install help needed.

OK, thanks for the info.

I'm going to remove the grommets and make up my own spacers then. I come from mostly gas models where I always use the grommets.

And yea, I mis-spoke in my first...

RE: T-REX 500 elevator servo install help needed.

Excellent! At least I know I'm not going crazy (yet).

Short answer for anyone else that reads this,... the spacers are not in there. You will need to either make your own out of an old servo...

I'm in the process of building my T-Rex 500 ESP, and I have some questions about the servo mounting. Since I have the ESP, I am using the 510's, and I have yet to buy my tail servo.

Here are my...

RE: Blade CP Pro

I have a set of the plasti-blades, and I really liked them after getting them. The blade was much more stable due to the hevier weight, and I really like the way it handles with them on.

I am...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

I know that some of the sims work on a mac through Bootcamp. Phoenix states this on their website: "Phoenix has also been tested on Intel-Macintosh computers running Bootcamp software and Windows XP....

RE: A Newbie with a Blade CP Pro???

Welcome to the hobby. Go slow and you should be ok. You can learn all the basic hovering skills by just skittering around, so that should help keep the damage down. If you ever get in trouble you...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

The hobby store did not have any carbon or aluminum rods, so for now I'm stuck with the stock replacement boom. I don't want to drill the carbon for a set screw, so I think I will just glue this one...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

Finally got the time tonight to sit down and fix the CP Pro. I have to replace the tailboom as one of the things to do, and this has put me in a really foul mood. Glue? Ugggh? I've tried heating it,...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

Noguy: thanks for the link to those woodies. I may have to try those.

I also like the idea of pre-covering the blades to protect the covering. I've been using ultracote which works well, but my...

RE: DX6 or DX7

That's just what I went through as well. I don't regret it at all, and am very happy I went with the better radio. The full display screen alone is well worth the extra $$. Also, with the 5 point...

RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!

Yea I was running the plasti-blades. I haven't broken any woodies, but I kept ripping the covering off of them so I went to those. I also like the extra stability they gave the CP Pro, and this is my...

Just giving another thumbs up for myrcsupply. I have not ordered my Rex yet, but just got a DX7 from them last week. I'll be getting the Rex as soon as I can free up some extra cash.

RE: Who all taught themselves how to fly?

I too learned all by myself, and do not know anyone else with helis. I wish I did know some locals flying, as it would be really nice to get together and trade stories, but for now it's a solo thing....

RE: cp brushless recommendations please

I agree with that. I tend to look at the Blade as a heli that can be left stock, and save the upgrades for a larger heli.

I have re-covered all my blades with no trouble using ultracote. Balance...

Do you customize your blade canopy?

I know there are a lot of custom canopies for larger helis, but do you customize your Minis? The first day I had mine I was ripping off the stickers so I could make it my own.

I would like to...

RE: Blade Cp Pro Inverted!

You won't find a new radio that comes with a gyro, and for that price range you may be better off looking at used gear through Ebay or somewhere.

To put it in perspective, the Spektrum DX6 is a...
