I would NOT get an STR..an STRR yes, but the older STR no..I guess if your just bashing its ok but still that's a bit high..The older STR had a few "problems" the stock diffs are or can be a problem...

For price and performance I would look at the Caster big bores (their 16mm) ..they work great and their price is good..The Ofnas are in the $200 range once you add the cost of springs, the Losi...

If you plan on racing I would go with the Losi..The Mugen is tough and can be made to be fast on the track..but overall the Losi is a better "race truck"..

I'll stick with the JR's..and I've had great luck with the analog servos in throttle/brake applications..Once you are in the $100 range you should not have problems..that is IF your using the correct...

I'm sure you could make it do one..but why? A 4WD truggy is much easier to drive than a 2WD one and since it was designed as a 4wd vehicle I would leave it as one, But you could take the front center...
