I have the Traxxas Transmitter and reciever from an old electric Rustler. I didnt know if they would work with the Mamba because I just tried hooking it up and I cant figure it out.

You would think for $150 you could get a decent RC, My Mini LSt gets about 70ft of reception, then wants to take off at full speed.

Thats normal for it to get hot, if im not mistaken I believe it has a thermal overload feature. Mine gets hott as well and Im running a 3C Lipo and a Wraith 7K

Finally tried my new 3c Mamba 6800 setup with all settings on low, didnt hammer it very much just 6-7 times and after about 15 minutes of driving the esc was warm and my motor was very warm. BTW ...

Yes a mini LST, I know with cars their are online calculaters that help with speed and MPH ect, Iwasnt sure if mybe someone had developed one for these cars yet.

LOL brushless destroys parts, unless you set your slipper clutch to loose and turn down your MAMba system. I like mine to grab and not slip to therfore I replace parts daily. O well guess you will...

Unless you have a steady income of more than enough money I suggest keeping the Mini LSt STOCK. Otherwise you will be saving money for it everytime you drive it. [:@]

I have already stripped the spider gears in my Vicious after 2 battery packs in a 2C lipo and 6800 Mamba. I put my stock diffs back in but kept the steel pinion and they havent had a problem yet,...
