50 MHz FM Compatibility

At 50 MHz FM, JR and Futaba use the same shift. Does this mean that a JR transmitter will work OK with Futaba receivers and visa versa?

Is Transmitter T6XA FM or PCM or both switchable?

Positive shift vs negative shift

I just purchased some used Futaba equipment after some 20 years with Kraft AM, and I'm befuddled by this positive vs negative shift issue as it relates to receiver compatability.

My hardware is...

RE: Help! reverse polarity charge jack?!

On a similar related topic, my three JR Max Xmtrs show about 3 to 7 ohms resistance between the battery and the charge plug thru the switch. Danny said that they hadn't seen this problem, have any...

RE: JR Max, 50MHz

Do any of you readers have a spare G type 50 MHz receiver as suggested by Danny above. (910, 236, 329 G or Z series, or 627XZ or G series.)

RE: XS3 radio reverse polarity

Danny, when you answer this, I'm curious. Since the charge plug is connected to the battery when the transmitter is off, and the entire transmitter is disconnected, what can fail due to reverse...

RE: JR Max, 50MHz

Thanks Danny, I suspected as much since I haven't been able to get anything else to work.

Before discovering your forum, I e-mailed Horizon Support, clearly stating that all my units were JR...

JR Max, 50MHz

I have recently aquired (via inheritance) three JR Max, PCM Transmitters on 50 MHz. One is "computer", two are not. (My prior RC experience and hardware is limited to Kraft AM on 53 MHz.)

The...

RE: Ham Freqs for aircraft

The older ham freqs for model control were in the 53 MHz area and were 100kHz channel spacing. Since those frequencies were desired for repeater use, a new recommended set of 20 KHz spaced channels...
