The spur gear on the EXT is Nylon... the pinion is metal. check your gear mesh, if their not right, your pinion will eat up your spur.

I converted the ESC to deans after the tamiya style connectors...

if you just bring it out side on the hard pack and punch it it will start smoking, and the other day the can got so hot that it melted the positive(+) wire off the motor...

My friend has the same setup and his smoked to(then he fried his motor) we put a 16 turn trinity that my dad had in 1986 and that one started to smoke to. But He posted on here earlier about RPM...

I've looked at it many times and played witht the compacitors and nothing's changed... Its so boring with the stock motor...

If the motor was overgeared would that cause it to get real hot and smoke? I have A Team orion 12T SV2 BB and a LRP A.I Pro esc and when you put the motor under a load(A.K.A Punch it) white smoke...

Yeah about the stock esc... I bought a LRP A.I Automatic Pro reverse esc that can handle anything down to 12 turns and a Team orion 12 turn double formula SV2 pro BB. I will have to buy some spare...

The original sprint 2 that comes with the Evader ext is limited to a 20+ turn motor...

How far away is your Local track?

Just wanted to know where you guys bash and how far the local track is. Closest track to me is about 75-80 miles away and they only allow 1/18 and smaller :(
