For what it's worth, KlassKote does not respond well to color sand and buff like catalized automotive paint does. I use this paint on my boats and just leave them as sprayed. The paint...

You're doing a very nice job on your Bullitt Rick. Regarding weight, my boat weighs 18.5 pounds and it is competative.
