I'm not saying that Hitec is a poor performer. And I like their stuff. But when you walk into you LHS and ask for something as basic as crystals and they nearly laugh at you, it's no longer a great...

I Bought this Laser 4 new for $10 as an impulse buy. When the man says all you need to is crystals, you don't ask questions. This ended up being a disaster....

I haven't balanced mine yet because I'm having battery issues- like only running a minute of full throttle with a GWS 750mah 8.4v with EDF55's. Anyone got an answer for that?

When you do take them apart you will find the metal strip that jump between cells is easy to pull off, but the solder points need to be ground down with a Dremel. Outside of that I just pulled off...

Your only gonna hear Turbocad a hundred times. Anything from 11.2 up works on modern computers but I used a version 10 demo on my current machine. Just make sure it isn't "designer" or any of that...

Might wanna stick to box type construction like a Stick or your Aerostar, stay away from multi piece bulkheads and formers. Don't do any that require too much ply ($$$). Hope you have a scroll saw....
