RE: opinion EDF

If you like scale profile the e-flite is the only scale intake but it is not retract ready.  I'd go with the HET myself because I hate belly landing jets and jets with fixed gear.

RE: EDF jet motors

There is nothing wrong with selling out your stock but a noobie won't know they're out of prodiction and they would be the most likely to need replacement parts. They are good quality but not worth...

RE: EDF jet motors

Okay, that's not what your website says.  Don't you think selling a discontinued product to a noob without mentioning it is unethical?
Yes those are killer deal though, especially on the Beast.

RE: what fan

The  big screamer is larger than the scorpion and should handle the power easier.  The scorpion would be ligher but near it's limits on 12s.

RE: EDF jet motors

Picking a motor needs to start with the fan you intend to use.  Once you know the fan and figure out the model you want to run it in research the fan unit on forums and find the power required to...

RE: Electric Retracts - Modifying existing Air/Servo-operated Retracts

I'm not sure Larry. You could use a programmable controller (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1630) to interpret the pwm in and a stepper driver (http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1202)at...

RE: Can I run?

If you put 2 - 3s packs in series you'll end up with a 6s 1800mah pack, you'd have to put them in parallel to get more capacity as a 3s2p 3600.

When you go down in voltage(such as 4s to 3s) the...
