RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

downunder,

I have no idea what the KV rating of the motor is. I did not see any identifying marks on the motor at all. It is an outrunner type, and the back of the case is open so that the...

RE: Art Tech Corsair VS. Parkzone Corsair

Hey Rob,

Are you still flying the Art-Tech Corsair? I'd like to compare notes. I'm just starting out with mine.

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

OK. I hear you on the 3 to 2 blade change. I'll have to see what the LHS has.

I was surprised that my Art-Tech was equipped with a much larger prop than you all seem to be running on the...

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

Hello,

I wonder if anyone here has any experience with the Art-Tech Corsair. It's a bit smaller than the ParkZone. It has a 39" wing. I have just one flight on it, but damaged it when I tried to...

RE: Art Tech Corsair VS. Parkzone Corsair

Rob,

Have you found a source of supply for parts for Art Tech? I have the Corsair. I'm a little rusty on landings, so I need to find a source of replacement props. Do you know of locally...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Disney,

Thanks for the hints. The idler pulley is what is making the noise. Mine fits on the shaft very sloppily. In fact, it doesn't fit at all. Do you use grease on it? It seems to me very...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Hey!

My stock tail rotor makes alot of noise. This has been true since the first time I flew it. Is there someplace I need to lube it back there that I am missing? Or is it just a poor bearing...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Philly,

I just lost another Esky digital servo. Just replaced it with a brand new one. I don't have to tell you which one the front one, of course. That's three burned out now. They don't strip...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Thing is, there was no indication that anything was wrong until I switched batteries and tried to fly again. At that point, it was obvious that I had no pitch control. The previous flight ended...

It looks like a just lost my 2nd front servo. Esky stock digital went bye-bye yesterday.

WarNine: (Dave)

There is "any reason", but maybe not a good reason. It's about money, I guess.

To keep the spending down, I'm trying to get the most that I can out of the stock...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

OK. I swapped back and the original servo is working again. The replacement servo is now dead and does not work in the rudder when I tested it.

I'm still using the stock ESC. If the Rx is...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

OK.

I'm going nuts.

Suddenly my elevator servo (front servo) is not responding to stick input. I did a couple of short flights last night. Then I brought the chopper in the house to check...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Being part of the Model Railroading crowd, many LHS carry the Labelle line of lubricants. They make plastic comatible grease and oils for use on model trains and other things. The oil comes in a nice...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Disney,

The question on the horizontal stab is whether a tight or loose clamp is going to be better in a crash. :D In my last crash, I lost the tail boom and one strut. If it had been tightly...

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........

Hello,

I got my bird all back together at last. It's been just over a week since I broke it. I'm glad I started out with the FP Falcon. It's trivial to work on compared to one of these guys.
