Dont know much about the b44, but im assuming you need a 540 sizemotor.
Brushless is the way to go, you will regret it if you dont ,and just end up spending more money in the long run.

Does this make sense. I have a castle shroud fan for 36 size motors. The fan works fine, except when i place it on the motor it stops!!
Is this due to the magnets inside the motor??

It seems to me I should just get a better esc with more BEC output, the one I have now delivers about 1.5A !!

I.m getting an external ubec cause the bec thats in the esc cant supply enough juice to power everything, and it causes my servo to jitter.
Will my esc's cutoff still work to protect my 3s lipo??...

Ok just recently converted my scrt10 to buggy, but dont know what i should choose for a BL setup.
I tried a velineon 3500 with a vxl esc, at stock gearing with 3s 5000Mah 30c lipo, and 1/8 buggy...

I havent weighed it yet, but it weighs a lot less than my converted hyper 7. I will get the numbers as soon as i get a chance.

Buy yourself an OFNA hyper 7 tq sport nitro. Gut it!! Throw in a xerun 2000kv motor with a xerun 150A esc a 4s lipo and your set!!
