check the front crankshaft bearing, evan if its leakin a little it can throw the tune off bad

have mine for years great buggy ,not the best for racing... but i dont race just bashing with freinds ,you cant kill them ,i just put the dynamite 21 pull start in mine, killer engine i had the same...

that high low gears never work right, i did a forward only swap, gets rid of the hi lo and reverse ,they both can be finicky and you would not beleive the weight difference , i had that tranny apart...

thats an ofna lx one, the engine is a xtm 21 pull start nice set up i had an xtm 24.7 engine in my savage and it ripped i must of had 7 gallons on that engine and it still ran great imo there decent...

ofna motor mounts dynamite 21 pullstart

is there a taller motor mount for the 21 pullstart engine or do you just shim it up with spacers i just shimmed mine up but i dont know how well it will hold up... this is in a lx one buggy

just relized you said gonna put pull start in, the problem with the pull start is it has a bigger back plate than the roto start so the engine wont sit flat you have to put a spacer between engine...

if the engine is smoking alot its probly just rich ,try leaning it just a bit, mines does the same thing during break in, keep an eye on the temp make sure your gettin it hot like 200f you only have...

you cant go wrong with the lx one ,ive had mine for years, i just put the dynamite 21 pull start engine in it and now it really screams, these buggies are almost indistructable, and parts are cheap...

it tells you to use 25% ,this engine is simple to tune and a breeze to break in, i have the same engines in my revos, i use a McCoy59 plug and top fuel 25%, the engine rocks ,the plug i have in there...

traxxas top fuel sucks its only good for break in way to much oil i could hardly get a fire going with it i use trinity 20% i had the same problem you do

they suck big time they dont have enough back pressure i tried it on my savage it looked cool but i could never get it tuned rite i had to keep pluggin the holes use the resonator pipe it works good

you have to pull the tranny apart and check the little pin on the shaft the same shaft that your slipper is hooked to
