RE: Nitro Car Dies when on idle - need help

Does the idle gap remain at 1mm while you hit the brakes?
Always set the gap with the screw on the carb and not with radio trims.

EDIT- Again, always set your tune on a fully warmed engine.

RE: RC10GT / Novarossi M12 Pipes?

The rear facing pipe is likely the MIP stinger, anodized purple by chance?
And a big hole for the pipe in the rear shocktower?

This one's not bad for $10 and torque tuned.

RE: 3.3 LIFE SPAN

The theory of BDC is the engine not cooling and letting the sleeve contract on the piston at TDC causing the sleeve to get "stretched out".
Main cause of 3.3 failure from what I've seen is the...

RE: Rear tie rod eliminator ideas? Have integy but too much negative camber.

I was gonna say RPM arms, but they have optional -2* camber arms...
Maybe just rotate the tires often?
I think the HPI optional suspension has adjustable camber but it's waay pricey.

RE: Another newbie question..savage x4.6.. When putting clutch bell on will u see a little clutch pad

If there is a spacer behind the clutch nut between the flywheel and nut, remove it, if there's any spacers between the nut and inner bearing of the CB, remove them.

The shoes should not be visible, the CB needs to be shimmed towards the flywheel.
You will get a lip on the shoes that should not be there otherwise.

RE: whats the best break in method

Start chopping pieces off and find out...:D

But in reality, start with stock and tune from there...
Shorter makes an improvement towards your goal, go that way.
If not, go the other way.
