Thanks, everyone for the great suggestions. I did take off the extension arm on the throttle arm and then had the clearance I needed. Have had my maiden flight and landed in one piece.

Great pictures. Good job. I was able to turn my throttle arm 180* and use a shorter arm and make it work. Thanks.

Thanks, I have added additional tri-stock to the inside and pinned the firewall with servo screws as well as epoxy the whole engine box. Good tip.

Thanks, Thats is exactly what I ended up doing. I dreamed up all other kinds of solutions that were too complicated. Simple is normally the best.

I had to turn it around because the arm was too long when in the other direction. I have just taken the extension off and I think it will clear with the arm pointing up and the choke arm pointing...

I did not use standoffs. I used a std composite motor mount, but I did have to make new holes. It all fit. Sorry, I don't have a picture with the cowl off.
