RE: t-maxx: idea on how to stop it bottoming out!

If you use the RC Solutions shock towers, they have built in bump stops to help keep from bottoming out. Only problem is they dont use body posts. The body mounts to thier roll cage.

I would stay with the stock cast unit. I broke my stock one, bought a machines aluminum one from my lhs and the next major crash broke the ears off of my engine case. The machined motor mount was...

RE: A MOLD QUESTION

Are you using wet layup or prepreg? I make aircraft interior parts from fiberglass and carbon fiber and we run tools up to 3 times a day. If you are oven curing you can pull the parts as soon as they...

Is this car worth what I paid?

I just bought my first electric street car. I bid on this without thinking I would win. I usually stick with nitro but have been looking for a street car. The only experience I have with electrics is...

RE: T-Maxx or S-Maxx

I've had no problems with the tranny in my tmaxx. About the only time you would is if you add too powerful an engine or if the slipper is too tight. Just my experience though.

Dynamite aluminum bulkheads

Can anyone tell me if the dynamite bulkheads are any good? I ask because they are the only ones I have seen with nylon bushings.

RE: Keeping Revo Engine cool...

It wouldn't hurt to make sure the diff is shimmed properly. I had to shim my front diff after only a few tanks. I run a tmaxx but the same rules apply whenever gear diffs are used. If the gap from...

RE: Diagnosing engine problem

I'm sorry, I assumed you had a 2.5. The bellows is the blue rubber that covers the slide. If its loose from the carb housing you could get a slight air leak there. Also if its off debris can scratch...

RE: Revo carbon/kevlar chassis

One atmosphere or pressure is more than enough to process carbon fiber. My vaccum pump will pull 28.375 inches. This is less than 1 atmosphere. And Art's is probably using prepreg material. The...

RE: Revo carbon/kevlar chassis

Have you thought of using carbon fiber prepreg? It would give you a more consistant finished thickness.

RE: Twin brushless e-maxx?

I am going through this with a friend of mine. The main problem is getting the two speedos working together. Sometimes it runs great the other times the two motors seem to be fighting each other....
