Although it appears both JR and Futaba offer similiar features, at the end of the day it really comes down to which one "feels right" for the buyer.

I have once again had success in getting my TX to work, still having trouble assigning and calibrating the game commander though via the RS 15 pin/usb...

Our local R/S dealer here and the computer shop said this cannot be done, other than buying a compatable 15pin game card or a new usb joystick.

Sorry don't know much about NVIDIA drivers, but check out Flintlock28's thread (FMS and NVIDIA drivers??). Almost sounds like the same problem using FMS instead.

Seems to have fixed itself. (finger trouble!!!) Although the calibration still shows what I said, flying the sim tells otherwise. Go figure!!!
I have no idea why the sim would behave differently...
