she's a beauty!!! i really like the pattern cover job you did. thats a bummer about the 485's going bad so rapidly ,one after another. were they brand new? i'v used them in most of my larger builds...

i cant remember the dye name...rit? mixed 2 colors ,brown and blue into a glass meatloaf style pot and added boiling hot water. wait for it to cool and leave canopy in till happy with color...

mike ,i also looked at the razor and figure it weighs a bit more than i'd want to power up with electrics. calls for a 6 cell lipoand i have planes to fly on 6 cells all ready.

bare bones ready for filler,sanding,bondo on the cowel,ect...ect..... i took your advise on the wing and just built it the way seemed right. forget the measurements of the wing tips being tapered ....

counter balance is the stock design,but others have increased the control surfaces for improved performance on the rudder and elevator. i really fly the hog bipe scale and the extra will be pushed...

i have a bunch of hanger pictures with the turnigy 50 55 580kv motor mounted in it while it hung on the ceiling for years...lol....but i now have an eflite power 60,also got rid of the 100amp turnigy...

i built the 300s years before i'd be ready to fly it. in fact it maideened last fall and the batteries were to old so the lvc on the castle 100 amp ice esc cut throttle. it was an easy repair.

hello gang.....ya got me now! i took the old rv 4-40box with fuse pc's out from behind the furnace and popped all the pc outto start assembly of the rv. problem is the one ply side is sevierly warped...

thanks for the input guys. dave,i to would consider increasing the slot but it seems so close to the edge already. what does occure to me now but to late to change would be to redrill the rear pivot...
