How do you balance your props? I know the Xoar comes already balanced but once it is drilled for the hub shouldn’t it be balanced again? Thanks.

Thanks, $40.-$50. Props are plenty good for me. Even that’s kind of rich for me. Don’t want to collect them. Not trying to start a prop museum.

I am in the process of tuning this engine and wondering why there isn’t more info about people using them? So far It seems to be pretty good on the bench but I am still working on the right prop....

engines for Colorado?

I will be relocating to Colorado and am wondering what if any changes I should make to my gas engines to handle the dry air and elevation. I am thinking I may need to tweak the carburetors. Thanks.

Seth, Sounds like you might stay in the 20lb....

Seth, Sounds like you might stay in the 20lb. range. Twins are smoother and you can turn a bigger scale appearing prop. I completely understand keeping to a budget.

Looking good Seth, For the radiator you could use perforated alum. sheeting. I used some perforated screen off a pair of old stero speakers when i was building an SE5. Round holes will look fine....
