wood blades

Hi all.
Has anyone ever recovered there wood blades with monokote or paint them? The plastic on my blades are starting to fall apart.

Clean the motor with 30% nitro fuel. I cleaned a 1936 OK 60 motor that was so dirty that nitro cleaner wouldnt even clean it so I tried nitro fuel. It tolk 95% of the burned on grime off the motor.

Super 60 motor

Hi, I just acquired a super 60 motor. This thing must be real old, it has points on the back side of it. Can someone tell me more about these motors, As in how the points work.

Also check your exhaust gaskets. They can leak and create a lean condtion and get rid of that HPI ribbed pipe if you have one. A one peice pipe is the best.

I've been thinking the same thing. I took the motor apart on my old trainer and didn't find any rust, i never used after run in it.

Maybe it a gimmick and we are all just doing what we are...

I agree that if your not careful the motor will flood but I have never had a prablem when the motor was running.
