Ikarus 310 motor in a Hummingbird?

Actually - they both spin the same direction, but it's definitely not a plug and go replacement. I tried it with both a 9 tooth and 10 tooth pinion and was able to hover, but not get out of ground...

Yeah, I already went through one myself. I guess the upside is that they're pretty cheap to replace. At some point going brushless makes the most sense, I suppose.

I went the route of Hummingbird -> FP Piccolo. The Hummingbird was definitely a good learning copter. I'll second everything that was said about it being crash-resistant - it really takes a beating...
