RE: Hyper 10 sc w/mmpro sys.???

i have had some more time with these ESC's and i have the heat issue under control. in the SC10 (with a velineon motor), i think i was simply geared too high. went down to 19/84 and it seems fine...

RE: Hyper 10 sc w/mmpro sys.???

the people that have them seem to like them. should be pretty comparable to the novak 550 4.5T. again, this motor is 2s only. should give you everything you need for the 1/10th scale track though....

RE: Hyper 10 sc w/mmpro sys.???

there's where i go (it's actually union city, but real close to hayward). i'm pretty sure most of the guys running in the 4x4 SC are using the 4.5T 550's. either tekin or novak. if you're not...

RE: Hyper 10 sc w/mmpro sys.???

i have recently purchased two sidewinder SCT's and one of the 1410 motors. IMO, so far the sidewinder sct esc's are not good. they both run very hot. i haven't had much time to mess with them, but...

RE: Hyper 10 sc w/mmpro sys.???

you already have a nice ESC. no need to go out and buy another system. if you plan to race only, i'd say to go get a novak 550 in 4.5 turns. that will only allow you to run 2S lipos. if you want to...

RE: mmp in pede 4x4

RE: mmp in pede 4x4

no, unfortunately, that was the a-main of the 1/10th truggy class. it is a fun class, but all these conversions are ruining it. it used to just be TT's. then some losi ten-t conversions started...

the guy who does the customer service at the URC forums is way better than that eric guy. i'd try over there.

RE: Brushless setup questions for a Slash 2WD

ah yes. i forgot. only the 4wd is a no-no. so only the potential waterproof-ness of the velineon is a plus for the traxxas system. personally i would tell the kid to keep it out of the water and get...

RE: Brushless setup questions for a Slash 2WD

if your son can keep it out of the water, then the castle system is better AND cheaper. the only reason to go with the velineon system would be if he plans on running it in the snow or occasional...
