RE: Thunder AC680 - CONNECTION BREAK?

Right, we'll assume it since it's brand new. (for now)

OK, so I don't charge 1S batteries (yet), but my observation based on the picture is this (and hopefully someone can correct me if I'm...

RE: Thunder AC680 - CONNECTION BREAK?

So I'm used to using the 2S/3S LiPo with cell balancer connector; I can't tell if you're using a cell balancer on that configuration - will pull images into Photoshop and zoom in.

I would agree...

RE: Thunder AC680 - CONNECTION BREAK?

AFTER I reread the previous post in which the person indicated they returned the first charger (LiPo didn't show up in menu - I can't begin to imagine how that is happening...), and then they...

RE: LiPo Life

If you're asking about the AC680 (http://www.hobbypartz.com/73p-ac680-accharger.html), the specs are:

RE: LiPo Life

Two ways... either incorporate some telemetry functionality - which is an expensive proposition... or I created a Timer App for my iPhone that reminds me when it's time to land for the particular...

RE: LiPo Life

This is a very important take-away... even my expensive ESC has the LVC set far too low to be healthy for the batteries. I didn't even think about it or realize that fact until very recently. I try...

RE: LiPo Life

The puffing is most likely due to users not keeping the charge within the acceptible tolerances; a lot of this is caused by the fact that LiPo configurations vary significantly - so you could argue...

RE: Battery Boss - RC's first reality show

The video was interesting and fun to watch; especially for anyone that dreams about working around R/C all day long.  I had not heard about MaxAmps.com before so the video provides a good marketing...

RE: LiPo Life

"Not handling LiPo battery packs" - I can only imagine someone said that implying that you run less risk of "dropping" the battery perhaps... people handle the LiPos all the time.

Regarding...

RE: best deal on battery and charger.....

In general, a really excellent charger is the Thunder AC680 from Hobbypartz - what I enjoy the most about it is it allows you to easily put the LiPo battery packs at a "storage" charge. If you've...

RE: Aspire EP conversion

Funny Todd, that's exactly what I did to be sure it wouldn't come off again... put a strip of electrical tape across the front of it. (Until I find some magnets) ;-)
