RE: Which 100cc Pilot RC to get... Yak 54 or Edge 540????

I have both the Yak and Edge but both are the larger sizes, don't think it matters, the Yak is the best all around plane. You just need to change the balance a little and play with the rates and you...

RE: 25% Edge 540 or Extra

Go to Chief Aircraft and look at the Pilot brand, they seem to be lighter than most brands in the smaller gassers - 30cc and are easy to get spare parts if needed. Please don't discount the need for...

RE: TT TOC elevator servo mounting?

You need to use 1.5" to 2" arms. Please make sure you use high torque servos, the elevator has alot of area. I use SWB arms and tightening the lock screw is hard but it's a one time deal. Use the...

RE: what is the simplest/safest/most reliable radio system for a giant?

If the guy that sold you the plane is giving you advice about not needing a power box and has all these other high end planes why isn't he helping with the radio choice?
The best thing you can do...

RE: NEW-ParkZone Sukhoi Su-26M-OFFICIAL THREAD

Here's the problem, they advertise 3D, they say it's amazing, they act like Quique uses one to practice with. I would think by now that Horizon knows what is 3D capable and other than typical setup...

RE: NEW-ParkZone Sukhoi Su-26M-OFFICIAL THREAD

How can Parkzone/Horizon possibly feel o.k. about telling everyone this is 3D capable? They need to recall these and try again. I for one am taking mine back for a refund and suggest everyone do the...

RE: DA50-Oil Question-No Oil Wars please

Most of the oils we are using were developed for high performance 2 stroke engines in motorcycles and snow mobiles, currently these engines are exclusively water cooled. Water cooled engines are much...

RE: Throttle Servo????which one.

I use Futaba 9001 coreless. Most of the feedback I've heard is that you don't want to use a digital on throttle as the vibration can cause problems.

RE: Futaba 3003 servos in a Giant stick?

Please consider safety first. Sending up a plane that you know or suspect is marginal is not smart. The standard servos are named standard because they are made for standard sized aircraft which most...

RE: engines?

The Rossi 21-4 has been a good motor for me, it has a very smooth power band if you pair it up with a mid range pipe.
