Hyper DLG Assembly Instructions?

Does anyone have experience assembling the Hyper DLG? I just purchased one and it did not appear to come with assembly instructions. Most of it's pretty straightforward, but I'm not sure about...

RE: Can someone please explain?

Having sold items on eBay before (though not R/C-related), I can say that it's very painful to have an item go for a low bid and then have to subtract listing and PayPal fees from the total. ...

RE: HS-56HB's in TREX 450SA

The instructions recommend S75's which are rated at 17.2 oz/in torque, so I expect the 56's should be sufficient.

HS-56HB's in TREX 450SA

I purchased Hitec HS-56HB's before the TREX 450SA ARF arrived. The servos have two mounting holes on each tab, but the heli side frames are drilled for single holes, as with HS-55's or S75's. Also,...

RE: 3M dilemma

I decided on the Scooter 3M for now, though it's back-ordered from Isthmus. Hopefully that'll carry me for a while, until I decide I need something more expensive. Thanks for the advice.

RE: Electric Sea Planes

1. You can derate the battery packs (make them much higher capacity than needed) to help with cooling problems. For example, use 20C packs when you expect to draw 10C at most. Alternatively, try to...

RE: Does the Happy Dance

That's about a 6 hour drive for me. Probably not practical but for special occasions. I got it thinking I'd put it in the La-7 I'm still working on from the design contest. I already had an A6R,...

Does the Happy Dance

I stopped at a hobby store today, one I don't get to visit often any more, and found that they still had something I had been eyeing before. Finally broke down and decided to buy it.

RE: 1010 charger and 210 balancer walkthrough

I haven't used the TP 1010C, but the balance plug on the battery (the smaller connector with several thin wires) plugs into the appropriate connector (based on the number of cells) on the balancer...

3M dilemma

I recently participated in a TD contest with a Gentle Lady. I did well enough, but received several comments that a bigger sailplane would make a huge improvement. I'd like to get something in the...

RE: GWS Coursair Question - Power

Assuming you're using a 3-cell LiPo, should work. I'd try a 9x6 or 10x5, assuming the landing gear is long enough (or you leave it off).

RE: OMG I am so DEAD!!!!!!!!!!

Your local hardware store probably sells colored sticks (like big Crayons) you can use to fill and color the dings. Then a coat of wax (or whatever finish you're using) should make it hardly...

Oly II or III?

Skybench Aerotech expects to have laser-cut kits soon for the Oly III (132" wingspan) and Oly II S (100" wingspan, S3014 airfoil). They also have the original Oly II. Any comments on which would be...

RE: Blade CX heat sink

Pages 29-30 of the Blade CX manual describe installing the optional heat sink. They recommend removing the right-hand motor for installation, and to use thermal paste.

RE: how to power a SRx250?

The recommended power system is:

What gear ratio did you use? Voltage was likely the biggest culprit. 10 cells packs quite a bit more punch than 6 or 8.

RE: Will CX Charger work on 3 11.1V LIPO ?

I believe it is designed to work only with the E-Flite 2 cell LiPo. As I recall, the balance/charge connector has only three pins, which isn't enough to balance charge a 3 cell. It might be...

RE: Blade CX - Is it worth buying?

It is a good electric heli for beginners, but you may outgrow it quickly. It's fixed pitch and fairly sedate. Don't expect any aerobatics or outdoor flying in wind. If you're looking to advance to...

RE: Snap rolls - too big...

Have you checked the C.G.? You may find moving it forward slightly will speed up snaps. Also, you may want to check your battery pack voltage under load. If it's dropping voltage too much, you may...
