I find it utterly ridiculous that it's "illegal" to swap crystals. It works fine if you don't jump too many channels. Curious what law makes this illegal? Just go fly.

Can anyone tell me what sachs engine this is? the exhaust bolts are not straight across. numbers on the cylinder are 123.131 and on the case 923/1D Thanks in advance

Does anyone have a formula for finding the CG of this thing? Sort of looks like one of the ships from the tv series, battlestar galaktica. Or even if anyone has a name, that might help me.

Thanks for the input. I did find a 2x6 and 2x4. both have a different fuse. so I'm pretty sure it's not a HOB. The smaller of the two has an eight foot wing.

two wires to each retract. and basically all the reds are tied together and all the blacks too. I did fiddle around with it and found that by reversing the + and - the retract either go up or down....

Thanks for the info. there are only two wires to each retract. i was able to control the up and down of the motors by switching the pos and neg around , one way for down the other for up. ...

it is the retracts i'm more interested in. seems there aren't any servos to say on the retracts. they have built in motors. i can make them work with a battery. just hoping to be able to convert...

any information you may have would be great. I haven't figured out what this wing is from, but it's a pattern style airfoil and I'm pretty sure i can build a fuse around it. thanks again

does anyone know if the old four prong kraft servo can be converted to futaba. i have an old set of kraft retract with just two wires but the plug has four prongs.

I'm not sure exaclty which one i have but from the picks I found on the net, it's one of them. really hard to tell since i have a bunch of parts rather then a helicopter. Shelocta is not too far...

thanks guys, here are a couple more pics. the back does have a needle valve and there is a glow plug. just need to figure what to burn in it and how to deliver it. and yeah, it's gonna get...
