thanks for the replies as i'm in the middle of a move right now it'll have to wait but i'm looking forward to refinishing this plane as it flies great(maiden today) .

thanks for the the quick answer i think this model was built in the mid 80's judging from the buliding tech and knowing a little of the history on it .i'm wondering if it might be time to strip and...

I just purchased a ford flivver from a garage sale and it is covered with what looks like sig coverall.
my problem is it needs some of the covering tightened up and one small hole repaired any...

i have a slow poke and also fly form a grass field i left my gear in the wing i increased the ele throw to keep the tail on the ground but ya gotta be quick!

i have one of these cubs and just maidened it this weekend .i'll have to say it flew but something is definately wrong and i suspect the engine mount is to blame it's way too flexable for the os 70...

i have the gws corsair w/ a xt 400 brushless 2 cell 1320 thunder power lipoly it flies great . i haven't flown out the battery as i wanted power to land but typical times are around 5-6 minutes...

i have one on a lt 25 and have yet to have a dead stick .i just purchased a 61 ringed and it runs great .good bang for the buck . i have over 50 10 minute flights on the 32 .

the only thing i can add from experiance is at higher altitudes (6500 ft for us) you have to prop up ,i run a 12x6 on my os 48 and it pulls my slow poke around just fine .

I flew mine today with the stock set up and can say it feels a little slow to me --but i'm at 6200 ft altitude so that might account for that .it's definately a nice arf --the only one i've ever...

I've built two of these one with a gms 32 (graet combo) and one with a os 25 ( a little underpowered) but both fly great .build as per plans and enjoy . the tailwheel is a pull-pull and works great....
