I do believe you are correct. Although similar to the Violator. I have owned about every Ofna buggy there is to own, can get confusing. LX based stuff made up a lot of Ofnas.

PS=pull start motor. Do like i did, got out of nitro and went to 1/8 brushless buggy. As fast or faster and no headache.

Its not worth the money to convert if its possible? You would need the pullstart crank, one way, backplate and pullstart. Buy yourself a PS motor or a bump box.

Old thread I know. The second rc is a Duratrax Nitro Quake. If I remember correctly, it was the same as a Duratrax Axis buggy, except with different shock towers for the body to clear the big tires...

That is not a Ultra LX Comp! That is 9.5 Violator. All LX based from the front diff back. LX platform made most of the lower end bashing Ofna buggies.
