I dont forget this kind of threads Jack:D... , when you say gyro will move little do you mean that gyro will only have efect at high speeds and not for low?

Gyros dont have "then" programing mode. A gyro would have try to corect your wing at the same time. Think about it

...but do you mean that in a stall if you wing drops you will add more aileron to level it and wont touch the rudder?[X(]

it doesnt matter how far from c g or close you place a gyro.Another myth. "Angle speed" is same everywhere.

This classic "under the belt" hit ,it should be used to threads that need exclusively only rc jet operators opinion.

you can not use a gyro on ailerons on a 3D plane to help you because of the reasons i explaned before.
On a prop hanging 3D harrier flight you need rudder to rise the wing that falls...and...

... example the incorrect way to recover from a high wingtip attitude in a crosswind is to give more aileron(this is what a gyro will do) and cause adverse yaw , stall and roll the model...

dont know about a mix with throtle cause when we throtle back in dives the gain will get bigger when speed wont be lower,or when we full throtle on take offs the gain will be less when speed...

...gyro you crash the plane for sure! ..no gyro you have chance to act fast , give rudder and save it!

I expirience this "reverse aileron" you describe and i call adverse yaw ..every weekend...

Do you mean dont use this aileron gyro in low speeds but only in higher speeds?..but i find jet models more stable in high "half throtle+" speeds .I agree a gyro wont cause promblem in high speeds...

no this is exacly what im saying! .. opposite aileron input direction/corection from the gyro will cause the wing to drop even more during adverse yaw!

...only rudder save this and not...

So do we know what Adverse yaw is??=

-we try to roll right but wing rolls left so we going to correct with more right aileron!?!??

-BUT this right aileron causes the wing to roll MORE to...

here we go again ..A gyro on ailerons will give a WRONG INPUT and crash your plane if Adverse yaw takes place = low speeds= landings.
