I'm not sure that oil that combusts in a gasser carries away heat quite like the excessive amounts of oil that flow through glo engines. It certainly can't hurt anything though and many tests have...

Well ..... you're both right ...... and both wrong to a degree. While the cylinders and top end of the big Pratt is air cooled, that big oil cooler probably accounts for half or more of the total...
