Well, that's a good point that ThunderbirdJunkie didn't think of...he only had his truck a couple months when he added the RPM bumper. Granted, it took some REALLY hard hits before that. a chassis...

Considering how stout ThunderbirdJunkie's 2wd SC10's diff has been, he wouldn't be concerned if it had plastic housings w/steel gears (like the SC10)

The B44 and 2wd SC10 and SC18 were not in development as long as the SC104x4 has been.

More to the point, the B44 is just fine, if you know what you're doing, which most 4wd buggy racers do....

And you obviously have no clue how many people have converted B44s and found out that the B44 is NOT a good platform for a 6 pound TRUCK with 4" tall tires. Opinions are one thing, but spouting...
