If you review the tax forms from 2008 that were linked to earlier, I believe you will find that advertising sales for MA WERE reported as Unrelated Business Income. Subscriptions to MA were reported...

Thank you Frank. You found it before I did. Perhaps db would care to enlighten us as to when he posted or where a link to the 2009 tax returns. I'd bet my next paycheck it has the same provisions...

I went back and examined the "evidence", namely the 2008 tax return. The returns reference an independent audit that was performed for 2008 and also 2009. Said audit is available on the AMA website...
