If the plans for a plane call for 2 deg of right thrust, that means you'll probably crash on first launch if it's not there. I use a Robart meter for my Down and Right thrust alignment.

I generally remove the Mounting tabs from most servos for Electric anyway. I more often tha not use Double Sided Foam tape to mount them. About the only exception has been the Mini Funtana, ...

I do a lot of business with Tower Hobbies. I do not however g there for information about motors etc. Mainly when I go to Tower Hobbies, it's to buy something that I know for sure I need.

I know where you are coming from guy, Lipo's are expensive. Being retired is not a long way from being your age in regards to expenditures for a hobby.
