I remove any rubber O-rings from engine before using the antifreeze method. I don't know if I need to or not, but otherwise the antifreeze method works wonders,even cleans up mufflers pretty well!

I can tell you I have 2 of these engines. One is in a 74 inch Extra 300. The other is in a 71 inch P-51 (inverted). The Perry VP 30 pump (blue case) is the only way to go! Just a simple pressure...
