I use elevator manually as needed. However, mine does not dive abruptly like yours does. It should do the opposite, so that's kind of puzzling.

I keep some throttle on while landing so it does...

I have been flying my US 25e with a Power 25 motor, 13 X 6.5 prop and 3S2P 11.1v 4000 mah packs (as far back as possible) for approx 12 minute flights. Plenty of power and unlimited vertical.

I flew the Mini Ultra Stick as a beginner and, frankly, it was a little too sensitive on the controls for a beginner. Even using low-rates.
I wish I would have purchased the Ultra...

Lately, I have been flying my UStick with a 4S 2250 mah li-po pack. I get about 8 minutes out of them, but the reduced weight makes it worthwhile. As in your case, I do use the 4S...

Finally got my fuselage and completed the repairs on the wing.

There is a noticeable improvement in power using the 4S lipo's with the Power 25 motor and 13 X 6.5 prop. It really rocks.

I'm still waiting for my fuselage replacement. I already have the 4S li-po. So, can't wait until I get it going again.
