As Andy says the thrust angles should already be built into the plane's firewall and should not require adjustment. If they are off you won't know until you fly the plane and even then it will not...

Same here! I always do my first fill with the hatch off so I can see if the vent line is empty. I know how many cranks it takes to refill after each flight without filling the vent.
