I came across this thread in a search showing off my Grand.
A search for Airtronics Grand Esprit" and that is me in photo five, #9 is me and my Airtronics Super Esprit.

I would suggest going to the Skybench web site, there are good ideas for Skybird conversions which is pretty much the same plan...

I am not familular with the Eclipse but a standard practice is tape them togther. Some put a layer of tape on each side of the joint so the layer of tape holding the two halfs together does not pull...

Some have said that it looks like a Paragon with a thyroid problem.
The scans are from two different magazines, neither of which gives any details...

AS an owner of both, build to plan, add carbon to the spars and enjoy.
They are both great fliers per plan. The Grand Esprit wings seems to sensitive on the Super Esprit (173") fuselage which is 4"...

I have been in contact with the man himself. Hal is looking to see what he has stashed away.
He still has the Eclipse!
To make the world smaller, he was born in the same town I was!

Like I stated, I searched the web, they have the patterns for the Airtronics Eclipse and a power model with the same name.
RCM has another model with the same name but it is the wrong plane with...

A few tips for the the 99, keep the tail light, the original wood in mine would have made a good ball bat! As you can see in the photos I have added the rudder could use a bit of triangle stock.

Have you done it yet? If not use a larger diameter joiner. I bent my original so many times I finally drilled it out and put a 5/16" joiner in. No problem bending the joiner since.
