Yes Dick that is it, side-by-side twin, low, compact and fast.
I had a YAMAHA dirt bike at the same time. DT1 Single cyl 250.
Looks NOTHING like the dirt bikes of today.

Remember the YAMAHA RD350? I had one of those in the early 70s that would "clear the streets" of ANY English twin or American Harley. It would out excelerate them, it would stop better, turn...
