RE: Why use a field locator when you can now see where your buddies are flying and when?

But only a few show up in a 30 mi radius search. ;) Just didn't want people knocking on my door asking if they can fly here. The workaround for now is, I edited the map and dropped the pin a few...

RE: Why use a field locator when you can now see where your buddies are flying and when?

RE: Why use a field locator when you can now see where your buddies are flying and when?

This app looks very promising. I just downloaded it to play with and see if its something the guys I fly with could use rather than texting each other to coordinate flying times.

I do have one...

Thanks for the reply. Just the source I was looking for... The guy that sold me on the radio at Toledo a couple years ago. ;)

SD-10G making a buzzing noise

While flying yesterday I held my Tx up just above eye level to use as temporary sun shade so I could keep a good visual on my plane while it flew in the sun's general direction. When I did this I...

RE: Need a Lipo balancer

No problem telling the story, just didn't want to bore anybody with the details. At any rate, since you asked... I had been using a Turnigy charger for a couple years but it was quickly becoming...

Need a Lipo balancer

To make a long story short. I'm without a charger for the moment so a buddy offered his Triton to get me by for now.

To use this charger for LiPo's I need a balancer so I've been doing some...

RE: Eclipse 7 Tx problem HELP!!

I was having issues with my Eclipse 7. Turns out it was the spectra module. I diagnosed the problem by simply borrowing a module from another Hitec user and plugging it into my Tx.

Sorry it took so long to post these pics for you. I don't check in on RCU as much as I used to.

In the first pic I didn't push it into the ground all the way so you could get...

RE: SD-10G firmware update request

I do have a buddy with a 10G and we constantly share set up info. But we figured each of us getting a memory expansion card would be a wiser decision. Especially at contest should one of our Tx's...

RE: SD-10G sailplane programming

For me the missing link was simply turning the function on.

In the SYSTEM menu go to (13) SW ASSIGN. Scroll down to Fl to EL. In the first column change it to say "ON"

If that doesn't work...

A few years ago I made just what your describing buy using a standard entry door hinge. However I didn't use a spring, just the mechanics of the hinge to limit travel in one direction. When I'm ready...

Here are how my modes...
